Integrate dynamic sources, mixes and bounded GTK metering - #19
Merged
Conversation
Adapt source and mix controls, snapshot-driven source picking, desktop and tray integration, and scheduler callbacks. Isolate meter generations and keep spawn, cancellation, pipe closure and reaping off the GTK thread. Co-authored-by: Zedwil <nylegarcia01@gmail.com>
Wire source and mix CRUD, exclusive groups, persisted sends and output state. Preserve monitor identity, gate Wave capture routes on current-generation PCM, and bind child lifetime safely outside threaded preexec hooks. Verify escaped Pulse properties and remove only ownership-matching virtual modules. Co-authored-by: Zedwil <nylegarcia01@gmail.com>

Reviewed replacement for #8, part 7/12. Original contribution: Zedwil / NyleGarcia.
Stack
Depends on #18; base is
pr8-06-mix-outputs. Merge the parent first. These are ordered review slices, not independent cherry-picks.Scope
Verification
Actual GTK windows under Xvfb: source/mix dialogs, group switching, trim changes, reorder/rename preserving sends, confirmed deletion and persistence. Two-device identity/hotplug smoke used simulated device I/O; no physical phantom-power test is claimed.
Runtime scenarios were exercised on the integrated stack. Hardware-facing tests do not imply physical USB/phantom-power certification.
