Reviewed replacement for #8, part 8/12. Original contribution: Zedwil / NyleGarcia.

Stack

Depends on #19; base is pr8-07-dynamic-matrix. Merge the parent first. These are ordered review slices, not independent cherry-picks.

Scope

  • Persist named matrix snapshots and serial-bound hardware settings while excluding phantom power.
  • Respect gain locks and partial device/topology matches during recall.
  • Expose typed GApplication actions and read-only telemetry; reject invalid levels and forged state writes.

Verification

Actual session-bus calls exercised scene save/recall/delete, source groups and sends, partial matching, gain locks, no phantom writes, invalid values and read-only telemetry.

Runtime scenarios were exercised on the integrated stack. Hardware-facing tests do not imply physical USB/phantom-power certification.

Recall one desired-state snapshot without changing topology, preserve exclusive groups, and report missing or unsupported controls. Cache hardware snapshots, serialize per-device recall, respect the selected gain lock, and exclude phantom power. Publish read-only GTK action state and validate before mutation.
