According to https://ocaml.org/p/yojson/latest/CHANGES.html#removed, Yojson recently removed support for Variants and Tuples, as they were non-standard and barely used.
Unfortunately it seems we were one of the few users :(
Might fix #498
Putting this as a draft because I haven't touched this project in years and might be completely wrong
