I've been writing code for over ten years, mostly for people who needed a product to work rather than a stack to admire. Today I build web platforms, mobile apps and developer tools, and I run Mikesoft — a small studio where the same person you talk to is the one writing the code.
Most of what you find here started as something I needed myself: VS Code extensions, MCP servers, local-first apps, WordPress plugins. It's all MIT or GPL, no telemetry, no accounts. If it's useful to you, take it — and open an issue if it breaks.
I also send fixes upstream to projects I use and respect. Working in someone else's codebase is the fastest way to stay honest about your own.
