I maintain a handful of open-source tools: VS Code extensions, MCP servers, a WordPress plugin, an offline password manager for Android. All MIT or GPL, no telemetry, no accounts.

Most of my week goes to client work. Sponsorship buys back a slice of it for maintenance — compatibility fixes when editors and APIs change, issue triage, documentation, and releases that don't break anyone's setup.

Sponsoring is entirely optional. If one of these tools saved you an afternoon, that's already worth a lot; opening a clear issue or sending a fix helps just as much.
