I am a 9th grader studying in NIS Science & Mathematics Medeu from Almaty, Kazakhstan. I work on projects related to engineering and aerospace in particular. I love aerospace engineering because it combines different disciplines to do great things.
I design, build, and document hardware and software — and I lead SAMRUK, a student engineering team with 5 members.
- LHS-1 Stratospheric Experiment. Currently, I am working on the experiment that studies thermal insulation efficiency of lunar regolith in stratospheric near-vacuum conditions which is really important for future lunar habitats. Being approved by iEDU Cubes in Space program, it will fly on the NASA's RB-11 high-altitude balloon. You can find details in this repository.
- METEOSAT CubeSat. My Samruk team and I designed, assembled, and tested CubeSat (10x10x10 cm satellite) for meteorological purposes, winning 3rd place in international "Exploring World of Science" competition. You can find our presentation on google drive.
- Carbon rocket with electronics — self-designed and launched, with onboard data-collection electronics. I documented it in YouTube Video.
- N-body gravity simulation — I programmed gravity in Unity C# and modeled astronomical processes in it. You can find details in my YouTube Video.
- Digital Trees Evolution — I modeled natural selection in my Unity C# simulation. You can find details in repository.
Samruk Lunar Settlement is a comprehensive 50-page lunar colonization concept made by me and the Samruk team for NSS Space Settlement Contest 2026 — our biggest project yet. We published it on zenodo. We won 1st place in Aeroo Space Settlement Competition with a preliminary, shorter version of this project: repository.
Samruk is an aerospace engineering team I lead. For me, it is the most valuable source of experience of project management and organizational skills.
