Abs ported to C
Thanks to danil1petrov, who is the original creator of this port.
If you encounter any problems, please ask on the Discord or file an issue regarding it.
sudo apt install libinih-dev libcap-dev libcjson-dev libcurl4-openssl-dev
cd (Wherever you saved Abs-C to)
make
sudo setcap cap_sys_nice=eip ./abs-c # used for low-latency input
Place abs-c.ini into ~/.config/.
These need to match your current display resolution, in order for accurate scale calculations:
width
height
These values are relative to the center of the touchpad/screen and are measured in percent:
x_offset_pct: X Offset
x_scale_pct: X Scale
y_offset_pct: Y Offset
y_scale_pct: Y Scale
keep_ratio: Enable/Disable Input Ratio Compensation (Similar to "Keep aspect ratio" on monitors)
enable_tosu: Enable Tosu/gosumemory integration, for automatically toggling Absolute Mode depending on gameplay state
enable_hotkey: Enable support for using a keyboard hotkey to temporarily disable Absolute Mode while the key is held. The hotkey is checked across all connected keyboards. Disabled by default.
hotkey_key: The key to be monitored by the hotkey check. Accepts Linux KEY_* key names, such as KEY_LEFTALT. Left Alt (KEY_LEFTALT) is used by default.
When both Tosu integration and the hotkey are enabled, they work together: Tosu controls the normal Absolute Mode state, while holding the hotkey temporarily disables Absolute Mode regardless of the Tosu state.
-h, --help: Show the help message
-v, --verbose: Show non-critical diagnostic logging
-l, --list: List input devices with EV_ABS support
-d <arg>, --device <arg>: Specify device by path or exact name. Device names with spaces can be passed as quoted text or with escaped spaces:
./abs-c -d "Device Name With Spaces"
./abs-c -d Device\ Name\ With\ SpacesIf playing on osu!Lazer, make sure to enable High Precision Mouse, (and disable Fullscreen/Confine mouse cursor to window, if on Wayland)
Either run abs-c as root, or add your user to the input group (reboot afterwards):
sudo usermod -a -G input $(whoami)
Run with:
./abs-c
