Continuous satellite-based carbon sequestration verification for peatland credits — no site visits required.
MireMap is an early-stage prototype exploring automated verification for peatland carbon credits in the voluntary carbon market. It combines multispectral satellite imagery with soil moisture sensor feeds to track sequestration rates across registered parcels and surface degradation risk to brokers and issuers — without requiring a field scientist on every quarterly review cycle.

None wired up yet. The concept calls for satellite imagery APIs and IoT sensor data ingestion; neither is connected in the current prototype.
The project is a single-application prototype with a frontend dashboard and lightweight backend that mocks data ingestion pipelines for satellite and sensor feeds. No production database or real-time data pipeline is in place — the current build is structured to validate the UI concept and data model before connecting live sources.

The core idea is sound and the problem is real, but verification logic, live data ingestion, and any compliance-relevant outputs are not yet implemented.
