Genome‐wide association studies (GWAS) is becoming gradually popular and fundamental to identify associations between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and phenotypic traits. Identification of those trait-associated SNPs can always reveal new insights into biological mechanisms. In our example, beta, se,MAF and N.sample are all retrieved from GWAS statistics.
