Frontend engineer building accessible commerce experiences, useful products, and open research artifacts.
React Β· TypeScript Β· Product UX Β· Accessibility Β· Performance
I build customer-facing ecommerce interfaces at Victoria's Secret & Co., with a focus on React, accessibility, performance, experimentation, and dependable product UX.
Outside work, I turn everyday questions into products, open-source projects, and research:
- Product engineering: practical web tools with clear interaction models and production-ready details.
- Frontend systems: reusable React and TypeScript patterns that hold up across devices, edge cases, and real customer journeys.
- Research and open data: peer-reviewed computer-vision work and public medical-imaging datasets.

Compares a route, departure time, sun position, and weather context to recommend the cooler side of a journey. |
Brings the familiar paper-and-pencil FLAMES game online with automatic and manual play, global charts, and shareable results. |

Applies Learning without Forgetting so a classifier can learn new imagery without discarding earlier knowledge. |
Makes balanced cancer and retinal OCT image collections available for reproducible research and learning. |
Core product engineering
Quality, data, and delivery
- 3 peer-reviewed publications across IEEE Access, Fire Ecology, and IEEE ICCCI.
- 130,000-image Multi Cancer Dataset covering 8 cancer types and 26 subclasses.
- 24,000-image Retinal OCT C8 Dataset spanning 8 retinal conditions.
- 4,823-image Forest Fire C4 Dataset covering fire, smoke, combined, and negative samples.
Photography, gardening, community work, and small experiments keep the engineering grounded in observation. The longer version lives in my field notes.
