OMERO.web ORP charter and roster - #5
Conversation
@knabar this ^^^ is definitely a crucial fix. Note that although your PR was included in the build then unlike #3 it is not visible on the resulting pages https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/ (of course I might be missing it horribly, but considering the comment of @joshmoore this is improbable) |

Sorry still not how to navigate from https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/ to any subchapter/project which contains any changes added in this PR.... Possibly @knabar has it built locally and can help with a link to an html page where this PR is supposed to materialize please ? Thanks see https://merge-ci.openmicroscopy.org/jenkins/job/WEBSITE-push/70/console - the PR is in |

@pwalczysko discussed briefly with @knabar who will add the minimal Markdown and allow these pages to be built and reviewed from https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/projects/omero-web/charter/ and https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/projects/omero-web/roster/ On the navigability from https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/, I think there is an ongoing proposal in ome/www.openmicroscopy.org#886 which should be reviewed separately. I would propose to limit the scope of this review to the content of the ORP. |

Indeed, thank you both, I can see now: https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/projects/omero-web/roster/ and https://snoopycrimecop.github.io/www.openmicroscopy.org/governance/projects/omero-web/charter/ My first suggestion would be: unify the formatting (the first title ....-- Roster and the spacing of the first paragraph) in favor of the "Charter" above. I realize this formatting disparity is also in the top-level menu, but I do not see a valid reason for it... |

Point for discussion: this ORP could/should cover the "core" web plugins e.g. omero-iviewer and omero-figure. |

I do not understand why Bio-Formats is mentioned here.
I can see the impact that OMERO.web and core plugins could have on the server when for example exposing functionalities like maximum projection.
