#1087
Description
This PR introduced a nap to cover a proposed long-term migration of napari's communication infrastructure towards a clearer separation of signals and events, with psygnal becoming the primary mechanism for state-change notifications.
We have discussed the migration in many discussions scattered over the years, but a plan, even an imperfect one, was never created. This NAP covers all the previous discussions, terminology, our goals, migration strategy and project phases.
It is meant to be iterated upon as we progress.
