Supersedes: is a trailer that holds the Message-Id of a superseded patch series and is recognized by Patchew: patchew-project/patchew@5a7fd9e Signed-off-by: Akihiko Odaki <odaki@rsg.ci.i.u-tokyo.ac.jp>
Based-on: can make it into replies as an unquoted trailer, but it is series metadata rather than review feedback and does not belong in commit messages. Filter it out with the other follow-up trailers that describe patch submission metadata, as done for base-commit by commit 8b53282 ("Add 'base-commit' and 'change-id' to badtrailers").
