docs: update API documentation for compliance with RFC 1574 - #291
Conversation
Updated doc comments for `RunContext::ensure_project`, `default_datetime`, and `TaskNode::create_new_to_disk` to align with the RFC 1574 standard. Enhancements include: - Single-sentence summaries using third-person singular present tense. - Proper `# Errors` sections for error conditions. - Self-contained, compilable `# Examples` sections for behavior demonstration. Code Review
This pull request improves the API documentation to align with Rust's RFC 1574 guidelines, adding more detailed explanations, error sections, and examples. The changes are well-executed. I have one suggestion to improve the determinism of a documentation example by using a fixed timestamp, which also aligns better with the project's conventions for tests and examples.

Using Utc::now() in examples makes them non-deterministic. For reproducibility and consistency with other tests and examples in the project, it's better to use a fixed timestamp. This also aligns with the general rule to use idiomatic and representative data in documentation examples.
created_at: Some(chrono::DateTime::parse_from_rfc3339("2023-01-01T00:00:00Z")?.with_timezone(&Utc)),References
- Documentation examples should use data that is idiomatic and representative of the project's conventions, not just generic placeholders.
This PR updates three public API documentation blocks to fully comply with Rust's RFC 1574 guidelines.
Specifically, it targets:
