Senior fullstack engineer. Ruby on Rails at the core, React/TypeScript on top, GraphQL and Postgres/Mongo underneath.
Most of what I do lately is unglamorous by design: data aggregation pipelines, infrastructure, and integrations with third-party APIs that range from under-documented to actively hostile. Making that stuff boring and reliable is the actual job.
Now — contracting at Autodesk, migrating a large, aging Rails codebase. Before — Universe (Ticketmaster), backend and payments (Stripe, PayPal) on a ticketing platform running at scale; Globant, tech lead, mentoring and Ruby practices across teams in Brazil.
Stack I reach for: Ruby, Rails, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Sidekiq, RSpec, Docker, some Go and Node when the job calls for it. Neovim.
Outside the day job, 10–20 hours a week on personal or friends' projects — currently a monitoring pipeline for flaky external APIs, among other things.

Design is more the art of preserving changeability than it is the act of achieving perfection. — Sandi Metz
