Follow these steps to get CodEX-Player on your Windows computer and start watching videos.
Open your web browser and go to the CodEX-Player release page:
On the release page, find the latest version of CodEX-Player. Usually, it is at the top of the list, labeled with the highest version number or date.
Look for a file that ends in .exe, which is the installer file for Windows.
Click the .exe file link to download it. Your browser might ask if you want to keep this file. Select 'Keep' or 'Save.'
Depending on your internet speed, this may take a few seconds or minutes.
Locate the downloaded .exe file. It is normally in your "Downloads" folder.
Double-click the file. Windows may show a security message asking if you trust this app. Choose ‘Yes’ or ‘Run’ to continue.
The setup window appears. Follow these simple steps:
- Click “Next” to begin.
- Choose the folder where you want to install the player. The default location is fine for most users.
- Click “Install” and wait while the software copies files to your computer.
- When done, click “Finish.”
After installation, find CodEX-Player on your desktop or in the Start menu.
Double-click the icon to open it.
Once the player is open, you can start watching videos quickly.
