Closing this one deliberately — the failing CI gate is correct, and the change is bigger than a routine bump.

TypeScript 7 changes declaration output materially: every function gets a declare prefix, and @typedef object types get inlined into the consuming declarations instead of referencing them. The diff touches dozens of files in types/ and reshapes the published type surface (inlined Cookie, Http2ResponseHead, ClientHelloOptions shapes, reordered union members, dropped and reworded doc comments).

That is a consumer-facing change, so it deserves a PR a human owns: one that regenerates types/ with TS 7, actually reads the diff, and updates the README's claims about the declarations if needed. Reopen or take it over whenever it is wanted.
