# Autonomous Session — 2026-08-27

This document is an incremental, evidence-led record. Remote pull-request,
issue, review, and CI state is mutable; each such statement is an observation,
not a replay assertion.

## Baseline

- Observed at 2026-08-27T02:05:31+05:30: `origin/master` was
`edad122e61914e8a88e93c00e50f4449bbc8a2c5`.
- Observed at the same time: the protected primary checkout was clean (`git
status --porcelain | wc -l` produced `0`) and was not edited by this session.
- This task-owned branch begins at the observed master SHA. Attribution of later
changes is added with their commit SHA.

## Decisions I made without you

- I did not edit the primary checkout, run an authenticated portal flow, alter
extension permissions, add dependencies, rebase, force-push, or create a
release action. Those are explicit session non-goals or ask-first boundaries.
- I reran the cancelled required Review gate for PR #234 instead of accepting a
successful scheduled check as a substitute.
- I did not implement #118. The current persisted checkpoint shape has no
version field, and adding a durable discriminator is explicitly ask-first.

## Concurrency and hygiene

- A fresh, task-owned worktree was created from the observed `origin/master`.
- Before the initial document write, the measured host state was `0` matching
Vitest processes and a one-minute load average of `7.50`.
- The required full suite later passed with 126 files and 2,122 tests. Its own

start command observed four matching Vitest processes and a one-minute load
average of `10.06`; its duration is therefore not used as a performance
measurement. Its required final three lines were:

Typecheck, lint, formatting, production build, and package verification also
passed. I did not run workflow preflight before the initial document edit.
That is a verification gap: the post-commit passing preflight confirms only
the clean committed branch and does not repair the missed pre-edit check.

- Before this incremental update, `pnpm workflow:preflight` passed for the
task-owned branch.
- Before this bot-feedback edit, no fresh pre-edit preflight was run. The
immediate post-edit preflight correctly failed because this documentation
file was uncommitted; that is a second verification gap, not a passing gate.

- UI-owned paths are not claimed by this task.

## Claims I could NOT verify

- Whether the queued rerun Review gate for PR #234 will ever begin; it has no
observed job and continues to block that PR.
- Whether PR #236 will obtain a formal current-head review. Its strict local
gate failed at the observed head even though GitHub required checks were
successful; this is an audit gap, not a strict-gate pass.
- Authenticated portal behavior and browser release-gate behavior; neither is
attempted in this session.
- Whether the synthetic restart recovery proved by PR #233 occurs against an
authenticated runtime. It does not; that remains the explicit blocker for
issue #166.
- The remote Review gate result for PR #234. It remains queued after a prior
run reported GitHub `startup_failure` with no job log.

## Where I was wrong

- No disproved assumption has been observed yet. This section is updated rather
than left implicit if one occurs.

## Re-verification script

The immutable source baseline's commit object can be checked directly. The
focused guard test below is a mutable current-tree observation, not a replay of
the observed result at the pinned baseline. Remote states are printed as
best-effort observations only and do not determine the script status.
