🎯 What:
Optimized CollectionExtensions.WeightedRandom for arbitrary IEnumerable<T> collections by using single-pass weighted random reservoir sampling instead of calling source.ToArray().

💡 Why:
Previously, CollectionExtensions.WeightedRandom allocated an array via source.ToArray() and iterated through the sequence twice when given an IEnumerable<T> that was neither an IReadOnlyList<T> nor an IList<T>, incurring unnecessary $O(N)$ memory allocations.

📊 Measured Improvement:

  • Baseline: Mean = 693.2 ns, Memory Allocated = 264 B.
  • Optimized: Mean = 978.9 ns, Memory Allocated = 96 B (array allocation completely eliminated; remaining 96 B is from the LINQ enumerator state machine).
