πŸ’Ό Work Experience

🟑 BNB Chain | Senior Blockchain Developer

June 2021 – May 2025 | Global Remote

Key Impact: Contributed to the core protocol of one of the world's most active blockchains, ensuring the security and scalability of billions in assets.

  • Core Protocol & Hardforks:

    1. BEP-131 (Hardfork Upgrade): Implemented candidate validator mechanisms in Go (Geth), successfully broadening the validator pool and strengthening network decentralization without compromising backward compatibility.
    2. BEP-299 and BEP-333: Engineered the token migration process for the BC Fusion (Beacon Chain & BSC merger). Ensured secure asset bridging and zero-downtime data migration during the network merger.
  • Multi-Client Development:

    1. Maintained bsc (Geth) (Go) and developed reth-bsc (Rust) for BSC and opBNB layers.
    2. opBNB Node Performance Tuning: Optimized execution and consensus clients for opBNB (op-geth) to sustain stable, high-throughput block propagation under sub-second block times, applying advanced memory and CPU profiling methodologies.
    3. zkBNB Core Infrastructure & SMT (Sparse Merkle Tree): Engineered zkbnb-smt, the core Sparse Merkle Tree (SMT) state tree structure and its optimized storage layer for zkBNB, ensuring high-performance cryptographic state-roots verification.
  • Greenfield Ecosystem (Decentralized Storage Network):

    1. Core developer for the Greenfield blockchain protocol using Cosmos-SDK and cometbft.
    2. Successfully launched Greenfield from Testnet to Mainnet.
  • Infrastructure:

    1. High-Availability RPC Plant: Refactored the core bsc (Geth) client to asynchronously stream memory state changes (diffLayer) into Redis. Successfully decoupled heavy RPC read traffic from core execution nodes, resulting in a significant drop in node CPU overhead and enabling horizontal scalability.
    2. Fast-Node Framework & State Optimizations: Co-developed the fast-node verification framework (BSC#926), and resolved elusive State Root Mismatch bugs caused by concurrent state transitions within the diffLayer during optimistic verification, ensuring 100% database consistency under high load.
  • Release & Reliability Engineering (BSC, Reth & Greenfield):

    1. Mainnet Release & Testing Pipeline: Led and managed the end-to-end release engineering lifecycles for bsc, reth-bsc, and Greenfield clients. Spearheaded pre-release shadow syncing, multi-node regression tests, and full-scale network migration dry-runs to ensure zero downtime.
    2. Stress Testing & Observability: Conducted intensive performance profiling and load testing (stress tests) under simulated peak transaction volumes. Designed and optimized production monitoring frameworks using Prometheus and Grafana, establishing critical alerting thresholds for early bottleneck detection.
    3. Feature Guarding & CI/CD: Collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to validate new protocol features, managing integration testing environments to prevent regressions prior to mainnet upgrades.

πŸ’³ Silkrode Technologies | Golang Engineer

April 2020 – May 2021 | Taipei, Taiwan

  1. Distributed Payment Gateway: Engineered a high-availability financial payment API using go-kit microservices and the Orchestration Saga Pattern with Redis and message queues, ensuring transactional atomicity and data consistency across concurrent distributed flows.
  2. Crypto Exchange: Developed high-throughput user log and content services using gRPC & Kafka.
  3. Performance: Optimized K-line data analysis and conducted end-to-end stress tests via Vegeta.

☁️ Noodoe Inc. | DevOps Engineer

August 2019 – March 2020 | Taipei, Taiwan

  1. IaC: Managed AWS infrastructure and Kafka clusters using Terraform.
  2. ChatOps: Developed a Slack-based operations tool using Go & React for secure DB management.
  3. Monitoring: Set up Prometheus/Grafana and EFK logging for K8s clusters.

πŸ› Hyweb | Software Engineer

August 2017 – July 2019 | Taipei, Taiwan

  1. Refactoring: Transitioned a legacy Java Monolith to a Microservices architecture (Go, React, GraphQL).
  2. Data Engineering: Built a Go-based web crawler with TF-IDF text analysis algorithms.
  3. Optimization: Improved indexing performance by 5x using RabbitMQ.
