I am a literary theorist and STS scholar working at the intersection of humanistic inquiry and emerging technology. My research asks: under what conditions does culture become generatable — not copied, not edited, but generated?
This question defines my current period of work, which I call the Age of Technological Generation (기술생성시대) — the epoch in which Artificial Nature and AGI become the technical substrate of cultural production itself.
My 30-year trajectory moves through four periods:
1995–2003 Deconstruction · Virtual Space Theory
2004–2012 Digital Narratology · Game Storytelling
2013–2020 Humanities Engineering Theory
2021–now Artificial Nature Theory · AI/Posthuman

The Artificial Nature Theory (인공자연론) holds that contemporary platforms constitute a second nature — structurally, not metaphorically. Eight foundational elements:
Ontological layer 물질 데이터 에너지 연결망
Platform layer 정보 알고리즘 UI UX
Key concepts in active development:
- 공진주체 (Co-resonance Subject)
- 기계세 (Machinocene)
- 동기화율 (Synchronization Rate)
- 기술생성예술 (Technological Generation Art)
