Run PHPUnit on PHP 8.6 (lowest and highest deps) with continue-on-error so failures do not break the build. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_0196qA77VM2Kxaqu6YoiuMLC
Dependencies such as tracy/tracy cap PHP at <8.6, so composer resolution fails on 8.6.0-dev before tests can run. Pass --ignore-platform-req=php+ on experimental jobs only, so the upper PHP bound is ignored and the test suite actually runs. Summary
Adds PHP 8.6 to the PHPUnit workflow matrix as an experimental version, so early failures on the upcoming PHP release are visible without breaking the build:
experimentalmatrix flag (falsefor the existing PHP 8.4 / 8.5 jobs).includeentries running PHP 8.6 with bothlowestandhighestdependencies, markedexperimental: true.continue-on-error: ${{ matrix.experimental }}on the job, so PHP 8.6 failures don't fail the workflow.fail-fast: falseso one failing combination no longer cancels the remaining matrix jobs. The
composer.jsonconstraint ("php": "^8.4.0") already allows 8.6, so no dependency changes are needed.Generated by Claude Code
