Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We want every space Nexus maintains — issue trackers, discussions, and any community channels — to be welcoming and harassment-free for everyone, regardless of experience level, background, identity, or how they use Nexus.

Expected Behavior

  • Be respectful and constructive, especially when disagreeing
  • Give clear, actionable feedback rather than vague criticism
  • Accept that maintainers have limited time and can't act on every request immediately
  • Respect that Nexus is closed-source — requests for source access, or "just open source it" comments, are off-topic for issues and will be redirected or closed

Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, insults, or personal attacks of any kind
  • Publishing others' private information without consent
  • Spam, off-topic self-promotion, or deliberately derailing discussions
  • Sustained disruption of issues, discussions, or any other community space

Scope

This applies to all Nexus-owned spaces on GitHub (issues, discussions, pull requests to the docs repo) and any official Nexus community channels (Discord, forums, etc.), as well as anyone representing Nexus in public.

Enforcement

Violations can be reported to getnexusupport@gmail.com. Reports are reviewed privately. Depending on severity, consequences range from a warning to a temporary or permanent ban from Nexus's community spaces.

Maintainers who don't enforce this Code of Conduct in good faith may face the same consequences.

This document may be adapted for other Nexus community spaces as they're created (Discord, forums, etc.).
