Brute-force-attack gives you an opportunity to attack any web page using brute force method with a given passwords and logins database. But it is not a simple attacks to the specified page:) it also gives you an opportunity to have a service running on server machine so different clients can connect and make bruteforce attack just specifying page URL usernames and passwords database files
