Hi, I'm Eric 👋

I'm a software developer who enjoys building clean systems, learning new tools, and exploring how things fit together beneath the surface.

🧪 Current Homelab & Systems Work

incomplete-stack
Configs, dotfiles, and system definitions for my small fleet of imperfect machines — Samson (Ubuntu), Hiram (Debian), and Gödel (NixOS).
Inspired by Gödel: never complete, constantly unfolding.

🚧 Current Project — forte

forte — Focused deploy tool that enforces FHS conventions so deployments are predictable.

  • What it is: a service deployment tool for FHS-compliant installations.
  • Why it matters: enables consistent developer workflows and predictable deployments across environments.
  • Status: actively developing; contributions and feedback welcome.

  • Linux across multiple philosophies (Ubuntu, Debian, NixOS)
  • Nix/NixOS & reproducible systems
  • Docker: remote daemon patterns, registry infrastructure, storage drivers (btrfs)
