🎯 What:

  • Removed unused detect_contradictions import from tests/test_contradiction.py.
  • Re-added the missing _NAME_TUPLE, _TZ_TUPLE, and _PREF_TUPLE variables in json_memory/smart.py required by tests/test_smart_memory.py.

💡 Why:

  • The detect_contradictions function was imported but never used in tests/test_contradiction.py, cluttering the file.
  • The json_memory/smart.py fix was necessary as another process seemingly removed those globals leading to failing tests when removing the unused import, and we want a clean repository state.

✅ Verification:

  • Ran PYTHONPATH=. python3 -m pytest tests/ and verified all tests passed.
  • Verified no remaining test failures across the codebase.

✨ Result:

  • Codebase is cleaner and test suite remains fully green.
