Hello, I'm Daniel Petrica

I'm a software developer and DevOps consultant living in Tokyo, Japan, where I'm also studying Japanese (preparing for the JLPT N4).

What I build

LaraPlugins.io — a Laravel package directory to help developers find healthy, secure packages before they install them.

Work

I usually code in PHP and JavaScript, and store data with SQL databases (mainly MySQL) and occasionally NoSQL. I tend to prefer TypeScript and Vue.js for frontends and Laravel for backend development. I also do DevOps and server management with Docker, Traefik, and CI/CD pipelines.

I created my first Git repo in 2016 and I haven't stopped exploring since.
