Vibecoder Skills

Vibecoder Skills banner

$ whoami --vibecoder

Every developer who codes alongside AI falls into a recognizable archetype. Some verify every line. Some copy-paste and pray. Some ignore the AI entirely and do it their own way. This repo catalogs them.

Find the badge that matches your current commit history, then wear it: drop it in your GitHub bio, your Slack status, your PR description, wherever your fellow nerds will see it. Consider it a diagnostic tool as much as a joke — read the profile, and you might just recognize your last sprint.

Pick Your Icon

You don't choose your vibecoder type — your commit history already picked it for you. The badge is just the flag you fly once you admit it.

  • Ship the PNG as your avatar so reviewers know what they're dealing with before they open the diff.
  • Pin the Markdown profile to a PR description when your archetype is the actual root cause.
  • Mix and match: most of us drift between two or three of these depending on the sprint, the deadline, and how much sleep we got.

Propose a New Archetype

Spotted a vibecoder species not yet cataloged? Contributions welcome — see CONTRIBUTING.md for the how-to. Keep new badge labels in English for consistency, and make the motto sting a little; that's how you know it's accurate.
