Hello, I'm Aya 🧚‍♀️

I'm a journalist and video producer interested in visual, data-driven and interactive storytelling.

I started using GitHub in 2026 after completing the Lede Program in Data Journalism at Columbia Journalism School. I use it to document my work in data analysis, visualization and interactive reporting.

I produce social and long-form video, build interactive stories and graphics, and use data to find patterns and add depth to my reporting.
