Closes #22

Coordinates

  • Base: main at 2b778d6a853ee789baa68277dab674cd0f037e96
  • Head: docs/22-agentic-development-model at 87affca890b75db09165aa86db207395fb43d675
  • Worktree: /workspaces/atrinik/workspace/worktrees/editor/issue-22-agentic-development-model
  • Commits:
    • dae8805 docs(project): disclose agentic development model
    • 87affca docs(project): link canonical authorship statement

Scope

  • add a prominent README development-model section describing the Codex-driven, maintainer-directed clean-room Rust reimplementation
  • distinguish the MIT editor software from human-owned authored content and preserve content-owner policy authority
  • link the replacement roadmap and canonical project authorship statement
  • explicitly welcome direct human-written code contributions under the same provenance, review, test, and validation gates

Validation

  • tools/validate.sh — passed (formatting, strict Clippy, workspace and doc tests, dependency/advisory/license/source checks, CLI/headless/window smoke checks, and reproducible Linux packages)
  • git diff --check — passed

Verification

Runtime verification is not applicable to this documentation-only change. The replacement editor has no wrapper build/runtime adapter yet; those integration boundaries remain tracked by atrinik/atrinik#266, #269, and #270. Classic is not a substitute.

The exact issue profile and owner-native verification are:

./atrinik profile show issue-22-editor-agentic-model --json
./atrinik path editor --profile issue-22-editor-agentic-model
cd /workspaces/atrinik/workspace/worktrees/editor/issue-22-agentic-development-model
tools/validate.sh
git diff --check 2b778d6a853ee789baa68277dab674cd0f037e96..HEAD

No scenario, state, topology, server/client data, or credentials are required. Repeating the commands is safe; no shutdown is needed. Keep the profile, worktree, and review report while this PR is open. Post-merge cleanup requires a separate request beginning with ./atrinik cleanup --dry-run --json.

Delivery review summary (final head 87affca):

  • Complete base-to-head review covered the raw issue, both changed Markdown files, surrounding owner/provenance guidance, canonical #168/#331 links, and the replacement capability boundary.
  • R001 (canonical authorship target and explicit content-authorship wording) was fixed by 87affca, validated, and did not reopen in the fresh whole-diff pass.
  • Final known actionable findings: zero.
  • tools/validate.sh and git diff --check 2b778d6a853ee789baa68277dab674cd0f037e96..HEAD pass.
  • Latest-head required checks Editor validation and Conventional PR title pass; Linux, Windows, CodeQL, and both analysis jobs also pass.
  • Runtime is inapplicable to this documentation-only change. The PR body records the exact issue profile, owner-native repeat commands, adapter boundaries #266/#269/#270, and cleanup rule.
