Andrew (Nature) Okoye is an Elixir engineer passionate about building resilient, production-ready distributed systems on the BEAM.
Affectionately known as "Nature" because he believes his greatest source of inspiration and creativity comes from nature itself, Andrew began his career as a full-stack JavaScript engineer before finding his calling in Elixir.
Today, he focuses on OTP, distributed systems, observability, and developer tooling. He is the creator of Nature Whistle, a telemetry-driven monitoring library, and is currently in the kitchen preparing NatureUI, a resilient Phoenix LiveView component library.
Through open source, technical writing, and continuous learning, Andrew is on a mission to build tools that empower developers and become a meaningful contributor to the global Elixir ecosystem.
