am gonna go with debian because alpine uses musl instead of glibs which can sometimes cause compatibility issues with some services. As of 29-Augest Debian 13.6, or trixie was the latest stable version of debian so i went with Debian 12.15, or bookworm as the subject request to go with the penultimate stable version.
