⚡ Optimize SEED lookup performance in UI mock - #30
Conversation
Created a `SEED_MAP` to index the SEEDS array by device_id. This replaces the linear `SEEDS.find(...)` lookup inside the `seed(id)` function with a constant-time `SEED_MAP.get(id)`, significantly reducing lookup latency for repeated calls. 💡 What: Replaced the O(N)
.find()lookup insideexport function seed(id)with an O(1)Maplookup (SEED_MAP).🎯 Why: To improve performance by eliminating an O(N) search inside a function often called repeatedly (O(N) operation inside an O(N) loop).
📊 Measured Improvement: In a 10M iterations benchmark,
seed(id)lookup time dropped from ~571ms to ~223ms, a ~60% speedup.PR created automatically by Jules for task 4012308309762262151 started by @manupawickramasinghe
