Summary

• Release Pilot v2026.8.17 with an optional theme-styled Shopify Chat launcher, generated component manifest, and Weaverse settings audit.
• Improve add-to-cart feedback and clean up the country selector observer lifecycle.
• Refresh supported dependencies, including Hydrogen 2026.4.5, Weaverse Hydrogen 5.20.2, Vite 8.2.1, Swiper 14.1.0, and Zustand 5.0.15.
• Keep React Router 7.16.0, GraphQL 16.14.2, and TypeScript 6.0.3 pinned for current upstream compatibility.

• Clean install and top-level dependency tree

Notes

• Production audit retains one known high-severity React Router finding. The newer fixed React Router line is not yet compatible with the current Hydrogen and Remix Oxygen peer constraints.
• Draft Spike official Shopify Chat web component migration #468 remains separate and is not part of this release candidate.
