Since patch 18.1, TFT no longer runs in the official macOS client. OS FIGHT TACTICS is how you keep playing Teamfight Tactics on a MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini or Mac Studio with an Apple Silicon chip: your Riot account, your progress, Ranked and the PBE, Set 18 ready.
A real Android device runs locally on Apple's own Hypervisor (nothing hacky, no SIP disabling, no admin rights, no Android Studio, no Java). The game renders in OpenGL straight on your GPU, and the launcher gives you keyboard controls that feel right for TFT.
You sign into your Google account and install Teamfight Tactics from the real Google Play, exactly like on a phone. The launcher never ships or pushes games.

.dmg, open it and drag OSFT - Launcher into your Applications folder. - First launch, one time only: double-click the app. macOS blocks it, so open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about OSFT - Launcher, and click Open Anyway. This is the standard prompt for any app not sold through the App Store, not a warning about this app in particular.
- Open the app, hit Install game engine once (about 3.5 GB), then sign into the Play Store and get Teamfight Tactics.
That's it. After the first setup it boots from a snapshot in a few seconds.

- Full screen, sharp. Drawn at scale 1, no blur, on any display size.
- Keyboard controls. Map any key to a game action, per resolution, changeable mid-game.
- Machine profile in one click. 8, 16 or 24 GB of RAM: memory, resolution, quality and frame rate are set together, and each stays editable.
- Three quality levels. Smooth, Balanced (the default on every profile) or Ultra, at 30 or 60 Hz.
- TFT in your language. A flag menu picks the language of TFT, or another Riot client with its own servers and account.
- Ranked and PBE. Play Ranked on your account, and add Riot's PBE test server to your library in one click, even in countries where Riot does not publish it.
- Fewer stutters at the start of games. Effects are prepared on every core of your Mac.

Does Teamfight Tactics work on Mac? Riot's macOS client stopped supporting TFT with patch 18.1. OS FIGHT TACTICS runs the Android version of TFT natively on Apple Silicon, so yes: full screen, keyboard, 60 Hz, Ranked and PBE.
Do I need Windows, Boot Camp, Parallels or a virtual machine? No. Nothing to install besides the launcher. Your Mac stays the way it is.
Is it an emulator? It is a real Android device running on Apple's Hypervisor with GPU rendering, not a slow generic emulator tuned for nothing in particular. Everything is optimized for TFT.
Can I play Ranked? Will my account be safe? You play on your own Riot account, on the game installed from the real Google Play. Ranked works.
Which Macs are supported? Any Apple Silicon Mac (M1 and up) on macOS 12 or later. Intel Macs are not.

Made by one person who plays too much TFT. Last season I was playing on an emulator because of a bad PC, and when TFT left the Mac client in 18.1 I wasn't about to stop. I tuned it, broke it, tuned it again until it actually felt good on a Mac. This is that setup, cleaned up and optimized for TFT, so you don't have to sink a year into getting there.
