LOGOS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. DEFINITIONS

"Software" means the Logos application, including all executables, libraries,
assets, documentation, and updates provided by Logos AS.

"Commercial Use" means any use of the Software in connection with or for the
benefit of a business, organization, or revenue-generating activity, including
but not limited to: use by or on behalf of a for-profit entity, use in
commercial research, or use to produce deliverables for paying clients.

"Personal Use" means use by an individual for personal, educational, academic,
or non-commercial purposes.


2. GRANT OF LICENSE

(a) Personal Use. Logos AS grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable,
    revocable license to use the Software free of charge for Personal Use.

(b) Commercial Use. Commercial Use of the Software requires a separate paid
    license from Logos AS. Contact contact@metalogos.net for licensing terms.

(c) Python SDK. The Logos Python SDK is a separate commercial product governed
    by its own license agreement.


3. RESTRICTIONS

You may NOT:

(a) Redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, sell, or otherwise transfer the
    Software or any copy thereof to any third party;

(b) Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive
    the source code of the Software;

(c) Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software;

(d) Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary
    notices contained in or on the Software;

(e) Use the Software in any manner that violates applicable law.


4. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

The Software includes third-party open-source components, each governed by its
own license. These include, but are not limited to:

  - STIX Two Math font (SIL Open Font License)
  - JuliaMono font (SIL Open Font License)
  - CSL/REDUCE (BSD License)

The applicable third-party licenses are bundled with the Software. Your use of
these components is governed by their respective licenses, not this EULA. Nothing
in this EULA restricts any rights you have under those third-party licenses with
respect to those components alone.


5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Software is the proprietary product of Logos AS. This license does not grant
you any ownership interest in the Software. All rights not expressly granted
herein are reserved by Logos AS.


6. NO WARRANTY

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. LOGOS AS DOES NOT
WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.


7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL LOGOS AS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL,
CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR
GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO
USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF LOGOS AS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF
SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF LOGOS AS EXCEED THE
AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE
CLAIM.


8. TERMINATION

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license
terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its
terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software in your
possession. Sections 5, 6, 7, and 9 survive termination.


9. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws
of Norway, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
