MeteoFusion HA is a Smart Service integration that combines numerical weather models, optional Home Assistant forecast providers and live local measurements into one hourly and seven-day forecast. The built-in Open-Meteo multi-model ensemble is always active and requires no API key.
- variable-specific fusion of DMI, ICON, ECMWF, GEM, UKMO and GFS guidance;
- ensemble precipitation support from ECMWF ENS and ICON-EU EPS;
- adaptive hourly and daily model weights verified against local observations;
- station-aware current conditions and horizon-decaying temperature correction;
- optional Met.no, Tomorrow.io and other Home Assistant weather providers;
- optional local-station
weatherentity and lightning confirmation sensor; - daily FAO-56 ET₀, forecast confidence and diagnostic quality sensors;
- stable
smart_service.weather.v1data contract for cooperating automations; - resilient model-only operation when local measurements become stale.
- Home Assistant
2026.6.0or newer; - internet access and valid forecast coordinates;
- one reliable outdoor temperature sensor.
A complete weather station is optional. Humidity, pressure, rain, wind, solar radiation, UV, dew point and lightning entities improve local verification and current-condition detection when available.
- In HACS, add
https://github.com/SmartServicePL/meteofusion-haas a custom repository in the Integration category. - Install MeteoFusion HA and restart Home Assistant.
- Open
Settings > Devices & services > Add integration. - Search for MeteoFusion HA and complete the guided setup.
The setup separates station sensors, an optional station-owned weather entity,
additional HA forecasts and an optional storm detector. Open-Meteo multi-model
forecasting is always enabled. Detailed field descriptions are available in
configuration, with engine design documented in
architecture.
- MeteoFusion HA Full Card for desktop browsers and 10-inch tablets, dedicated to a Home Assistant Panel (single card) view;
- MeteoFusion HA Mini Card for compact and mobile dashboards.
Both cards are read-only and install independently through HACS as Dashboard repositories.
MeteoFusion HA is the weather layer of a connected Smart Service system. It automatically detects Worx Vision Cloud PLUS and Smart Irrigation Automation. The Full Card illuminates their module icons when installed and dims them when absent. Each project remains independently installable and retains its own operational safety rules.
