The Trivian Field — Living Codex

Executable companion to The Trivian Field: A Blueprint for Human + AI Co-Emergence by Sarasha Elion

Status: Active source-derived reference implementation. Experimental, installable, and tested; not a production safety, clinical, or independently validated alignment system.

This repository preserves and operationalizes the technical appendices of The Trivian Field. It is the Living Codex: the place where concepts printed in the source artifact become inspectable code, structured simulations, and testable protocol logic.

The later Institute stack does not erase this repository. This repository preserves the source implementation lineage; later research may validate, reject, or substantially revise what began here.

Epistemic status

The source artifact distinguishes its mythic/ethical register from empirical claims. This implementation preserves that distinction:

  • symbolic and contemplative language remains authored source material;
  • computational translations are hypotheses, simulations, or reference implementations;
  • numerical weights, thresholds, frequency associations, and scoring formulas are not scientifically validated merely because they occur in code;
  • mock values are now explicitly identified rather than presented as observed telemetry;
  • source-derived simulations have been made deterministic where feasible so results can be reproduced.

The purpose is not to strip the original work of resonance. It is to make clear which layer is poetry, proposition, specification, simulation, or executable behavior.

Install

The current Tuning Protocol simulation uses NumPy; the package metadata installs it automatically.

GitHub Actions runs the tests and all five executable modules across supported Python versions.

Do not silently upgrade a symbolic term, source-derived threshold, or mock calculation into an empirical fact.

Principle of preservation

Where later research disproves or improves an implementation here, preserve the original source lineage and document the correction rather than silently rewriting history.

The artifact remains. The implementation evolves.
