Your weather station, on its own website.
Hosted, customizable weather websites for personal weather stations. No server to rent, no computer that has to stay on, no code to write.

A personal weather station produces good data and then usually strands it: inside a vendor app, behind a login, on a portal page that looks like everyone else's, or on a self-hosted stack that quietly becomes a second hobby.
Pro Weather turns that station into a public website you control. You connect the station once, and the platform takes care of collection, permanent archiving, charts, records, domains, HTTPS, and republishing your observations onward to the weather networks.

| Step | What happens | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Connect | Paste a free WeatherLink v2 API key, or point an Ecowitt gateway at your personal upload URL. Stations and sensors are discovered automatically. |
| 2 | Customize | Title, logo, banner, colors, fonts, dark mode, tabs and panels, units, language, about section, social links. |
| 3 | Publish | Go live on a free subdomain, or connect your own domain with managed SSL in a few clicks. |
Most setups are online within minutes. There is a 5-minute video walkthrough of the whole thing.
| Path | Hardware | Connection |
|---|---|---|
| Davis WeatherLink | Vantage Pro2, Vantage Vue, EnviroMonitor, AirLink | Free WeatherLink v2 API key, via WeatherLink Live, the WeatherLink Console, or a data logger |
| Ecowitt & Fine Offset | Ecowitt, Froggit, Ambient Weather gateways and consoles | Direct push to your site, no PC in between |
| Almost everything else | Oregon Scientific, La Crosse, AcuRite and hundreds more | Relayed through weewx, Meteobridge, or CumulusMX |

The Pro Weather platform itself is a hosted product and is not open source. This organization is where we publish the things that stand on their own and belong to the wider weather-station community.
| Repository | What it is |
|---|---|
| pws-toolbox | A curated, link-checked map of the entire personal weather station ecosystem: hardware, collection software, databases, skins and templates, charts and gauges, APIs, networks, hosting, and DIY builds. Includes six complete ready-made stacks, from "€60 and a Raspberry Pi" to "pay someone else to run it". CC0. |
Contributions to the open repositories are welcome: missing tools, dead links, and corrections all help. Each repository has its own contributing guide.
Vendor-neutral, hands-on writing about running a weather station, whether or not you ever use our product:
- How to put a Davis weather station online
- Weather station siting guide
- weewx vs CumulusMX
- The hidden costs of running a weather server
- How to read a wind rose
- Sharing your data with Weather Underground and CWOP
Every guide is written and reviewed by hand, checked against the working product and primary vendor documentation, with no paid placements or undisclosed affiliate links.
Pro Weather is built and run by Lennart, a student and weather-station owner from Belgium. It started because keeping a personal station's readings on a self-hosted WordPress site had turned into more hosting, updates and maintenance than actually enjoying the observations.
