Pisonics product documentation

Current English datasheets for Pisonics inline density and concentration meters. Always the released revision — superseded documents are removed rather than kept alongside, so whatever is here is what to quote from.

Which of the three

All three are ultrasonic, and they are not interchangeable. They measure different physical quantities and fail in different ways.

Three questions settle most selections:

  1. Is there abrasive suspended solid? If yes, PS7020 is out.
  2. Is there entrained gas? If yes, PS7010 struggles — a void fraction well under one percent can absorb the transmission path.
  3. Can the pipe be tapped? If no, PS7010 clamp-on is the one that works.

Common to all three

  • Two 4–20 mA outputs, NAMUR NE43 compliant
  • RS485 Modbus-RTU and HART 5
  • Ex d IIC T6 Gb available as an option
  • Remote wall-mounted transmitter, sensor separate
