Sociocracy 3.0 — first batch (compositional)

Five new method specs rendering the session-shaped patterns of Sociocracy 3.0, authored as original CC0 specs that credit S3 (Bockelbrink, David, Priest) as the canonical source. This is the first content in the registry to exercise the composition primitive.

Specs

Building blocks (single):

• navigate-via-tension — surface tensions, name the drivers worth responding to
• proposal-forming — divergent-to-convergent design of a proposal for a driver
• consent-decision-making — decide by seeking objections, integrate the qualified ones, adopt what's good enough for now and safe enough to try

Composition (chain):

• governance-meeting — composes all three: check-in → surface-drivers (uses navigate-via-tension) → form-proposal (uses proposal-forming) → decide (uses consent-decision-making) → evaluate-and-close. First spec in the registry to use composes/uses.

Standalone (single):

• retrospective — the five-phase retrospective, crediting both S3 and Derby & Larsen

Provenance & licensing

• All CC0-1.0, with S3 credited in each spec's attribution and SOURCES.md. S3's process patterns are rendered in original wording for AI-assisted facilitation; the method ideas are attributed, the text is ours.
• Each SOURCES.md carries an honest modelling note flagging the main adaptation a practitioner should sanity-check (e.g. S3's synchronous round processes rendered as async AI facilitation; Navigate via Tension shifted from individual to facilitated-group).
• All status: draft — the stage prompts are ours and want review by an experienced S3 practitioner before promotion to tested.
