An EPUB-aware AI reading companion for Android and e-ink devices.

ReaderHub is a heavily modified fork of RikkaHub. It keeps RikkaHub's flexible Android LLM client foundation and adds reading workflows built around local EPUB books.
ReaderHub is specifically adapted for iReader devices, especially Tango-series phone-shaped e-readers. On supported firmware, it can match the reading position saved by iReader with a local EPUB and provide assistance up to the current reading boundary.
- Scan the iReader book directory or import EPUB books individually.
- Match compatible iReader reading positions with chapters and nearby text.
- Ask questions with relevant text around the current position included automatically.
- Generate spoiler-safe recaps limited to content already read.
- Maintain reading profiles with recaps, characters, relationships, places, terms, and timelines.
- Display complete character relationship graphs in a high-contrast layout.
- Explain or translate selected text, identify characters, and keep reading notes.
- Use a dedicated monochrome mode designed for e-ink screens.
- Choose different LLM models for chat, recaps, and reading profiles.
ReaderHub also retains RikkaHub capabilities such as multiple LLM providers, multimodal chat, web search, voice input, MCP, assistants, and rich Markdown rendering.
./gradlew assembleDebugReaderHub is forked from RikkaHub. We thank the original project and its contributors for the Android LLM client foundation.
