Summary

  • Build and stage gst-avsynctest-rs (avsyncvideotestsrc / avsyncaudiotestsrc) in the gst-nmos-rs image
  • Build and stage gst-plugins-rs closedcaption (st2038extractor / st2038combiner) for ANC sync testing
  • Document DeepStream extra apt restore (user_additional_install.sh) as a derived-image snippet instead of coupling it into the main Dockerfile

Test plan

  • docker build -f docker/gst-nmos-rs/Dockerfile -t nvnmos-gst .
  • gst-inspect-1.0 avsyncvideotestsrc st2038extractor st2038combiner
  • Optional DeepStream build; verify README snippet restores x264enc if needed

Build and stage gst-avsynctest-rs and gst-plugins-rs closedcaption in the
gst-nmos-rs image. Install libpangocairo at runtime so the closedcaption
plugin loads. Document DeepStream codec restore via
user_additional_install.sh in a derived-image snippet.

Bump GST_PLUGINS_RS_REF to tip of main for the st2038 ST 291 ADF parity
fix (gst-plugins-rs !3216).
