Goal

Release SpatialViewer v0.4.2 with the already-prepared CAD compatibility report exporter integrated into the current v0.4.1 UI baseline.

UI integration

  • adds Export CAD compatibility report at the bottom of the existing CAD Properties pane
  • preserves CAD toolbar geometry, inline sidebars, canvas, title bar, tabs and responsive behavior
  • reuses the existing InfoBar for unavailable/success/failure feedback
  • zh-CN / ja-JP / en-US localization

Report

  • privacy-safe JSON from the loaded reader-independent CadDocument
  • app/CadCore/adapter product versions
  • allow-listed aggregate reader metadata
  • structural custom-object grouping
  • proxy primitive translated/unsupported totals
  • raw proxy command structural signatures, unknown type IDs and malformed/truncated aggregates when supplied by CadCore v0.12.10
  • saves under Desktop/SpatialViewer Diagnostics with LocalAppData fallback
  • copies the exported path to the clipboard

Privacy boundary

No drawing filename/path, entity/target handles, layer names, coordinates, raw property values, colors, text, raw DWG/DXF bytes or complete entity metadata are serialized.

Release identity

  • product: 0.4.2
  • MSIX: 0.4.2.0
  • release pipeline: resolve and embed latest stable compatible CadCore through SpatialViewer.CadHost

This branch is based on the current v0.4.1 main so the Rhino rendering/responsiveness hotfix remains intact.
