🚀 Installation

From Chrome Web Store (Recommended)

  1. Visit the Chrome Web Store page (coming soon)
  2. Click "Add to Chrome"
  3. Start saving sessions!

Manual Installation (Developer Mode)

  1. Download or clone this repository
  2. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
  3. Enable "Developer mode" (toggle in top right)
  4. Click "Load unpacked"
  5. Select the SessionSnap folder
  6. Done!

🎮 How to Use

Save a Session

  1. Click the Session Snap icon
  2. (Optional) Enter a name for your session
  3. Click "Save"

Quick Save (Keyboard)

  • Press Alt+Shift+S to instantly save your current session

Restore a Session

  • Click "Restore" to open tabs in current window
  • Click "New Window" to open in a fresh window

Export/Import

  • Use 📤 to export all sessions to JSON
  • Use 📥 to import sessions from a backup file

🛡️ Privacy

Session Snap:

  • Stores everything locally using Chrome's storage API
  • Does NOT send any data to external servers
  • Does NOT track you
  • Does NOT require an account
  • Works completely offline
