This is a fork of the seemingly unmaintained community lifeboat modpack for kerbal space program. It focuses on adding a few mods and changing some mods for more modern replacements. My goal is to make starting a new file of modded ksp very easy from start to finish for people who like to install as many mods as possible like me lol :p
It is now in good shape and can be shared and use, it should be relatively straightforward. Enjoy!!! Install from the releases tab.

You can click code and download as zip; you can import the modlist via ckan Post-install. There are also a patch included as MPE-x-Parallax-Continued-Texture-load-Patch.zip, install it as a manual ckan mod after the modpack installs fully. This is to fix a configuration issue that stops a couple textures from loading.

Please also download Blackrack's Volumetric Clouds V3 if you would like better visuals, and manually install it to your GameData folder, as its not on ckan. You can also use a newer version of the mod if you pay for it,(V5). V5 works best for me. These mods are more GPU-dependent and visual-focused. There's a version promising better performance Here

If you use Volumetric Clouds, consider also installing Weather Driven Solar Panel to add some amazing realism enhancements that depend on Volumetric Clouds, this mod sadly is not on ckan. Another good addition is Thunderbolt

I am having issues with Environmental Visual Enhancements Redux causing crashing for some reason, but you may also try it if you would like a visual boost, it is more performance friendly. It is available on ckan, but not included in this pack. If it crashes, remove it.

You can also now add any other paid mods you have as well, like the ones from Fossilized., if you would like.

On first launch, change the terrain detail in the settings to high.
This repo is the most up to date. It must be installed separately, please follow their instructions.
