RESEARCH COLLABORATION SINCE 2025 · GREYC / UNIVERSITÉ DE CAEN NORMANDIE

Conceived and led by Gersende Ryard de Parcey. Developed through research with Professor Gaël Dias, Lucy Martin and Clément Correia-Peltier.

Gersende designed the initial thirteen-module architecture. Under Gaël Dias's academic supervision, Lucy and Clément developed a multi-agent research prototype and delivered code, a report and a presentation in May 2026. Their work spans document extraction, consistency checks, structured analysis and report generation.

A research foundation already exists. Help turn it into a clearer, more useful document review experience. The student prototype's integration into the current engine remains to be done.

Meet the research team and see what was delivered.

When a decision is challenged, can you reconstruct what supports it?

I am building OpenProof to help people examine complex documentary cases. My contribution connects product design, source traceability and human responsibility with operational implementation.

I lead OpenProof and invite researchers, developers and documentary professionals to build on this work. Help people turn a confusing dossier into a report they can check: find the source, examine a discrepancy and understand the next review question. Legal is our first application.

Read the three fictional documents, choose a small task and bring your perspective. No coding is needed for a first review. French and English are welcome.

What I am building

I am developing OpenProof to help turn fragmented documents into a structured, source-linked record under human review. TruthX Engine is the structuring engine behind the application. The Registered Probative Object (RPO) is the draft record format presented in the public specification.

The first product pilot is OpenProof Legal: preparing a reviewable documentary record while preserving contradictions, missing information and explicit reservations. Broader applications in crisis reconstruction and decision traceability remain a development direction, not a claim of released products.

What you can inspect today

Start with What you can evaluate
Public RPO repository The format, example and documented verification boundary
Fictional record How a record presents its sources and unresolved points
Browser verification A local comparison with the demonstration reference
Product and pilot offers The proposed service and case qualification path

The public example is educational: its discrepancy is already written. The supported checker compares a JSON record with a retained reference; it does not ingest your PDFs or discover contradictions. The complete application and TruthX Engine remain private. Integrity comparison does not prove that a statement is true, that a source is authentic or that a record has legal validity.

My contribution

I define the product problem, workflow and acceptance requirements: how a reviewer finds the source, keeps an unresolved question visible and records responsibility for a decision. My role connects product direction with operational implementation, including work supported by AI tools. The public repository makes specific design choices and their limits examinable.

This profile distinguishes the public material you can inspect from capabilities still being piloted. Repository activity alone is not evidence of production readiness or customer adoption.

Help shape OpenProof

I am responsible for OpenProof's direction, priorities and coordination. Contributors can take a bounded research, development or practitioner task, with clear acceptance criteria and credit for their work. Meet the challenge and choose your role. The invitation to the new public circle is live; individual task commitments remain to be agreed. The private engine's open-source release and licensing remain to be finalised.

Do not stop trusting. Stop trusting what cannot be reconstructed.
