report: How To Write a Report

This is a collection of LaTeX files to give students a starting point for typesetting a report.

Set up system

On a Debian-style system like Ubuntu we can the setup script.

bash scripts/setup.sh

Having set up the system, we can typeset the report template.

make

This generates the file report.pdf inside the directory doc.

We have tested our code on two systems:

• Ubuntu 26.04 running under WSL on Windows11
• Our minimal docker container mix
