What is it?

Node.js is JavaScript running on the server.

How do I install it?

The packages included with Raspberry Pi OS 11 (Buster) are a few versions behind. Here's how you can install the latest.

curl -fsSL https://deb.nodesource.com/setup_17.x | sudo -E bash -
sudo apt-get install -y nodejs
