Summary

  • make the existing pendulum simulator the shared interactive companion for UpstreamDrift epic EPIC: Interactive Proximal–Distal Dynamics Workbench UpstreamDrift#8511
  • add one package-data experiment/glossary catalog consumed by both PyQt6 and React/Tauri
  • add six guided, falsifiable experiment families covering double, triple, and bilateral closed-loop golfer models
  • add searchable help, Workflow and Tips sections, limitations, interpretation cautions, and a self-describing run-manifest contract
  • update the specification, feature inventory, package data, README, and handoff files

Scientific Boundary

The guide labels output as exploratory model output, separates pointwise ZTCF from forward counterfactuals, and requires hypotheses, observables, falsifiers, and limitations. It does not present a kinematic sequence as proof of transfer or model output as measured biomechanics.

Validation

  • python -m pytest tests/test_companion_catalog.py tests/test_companion_dialog.py -q (11 passed)
  • python -m ruff check on the new Python contract, dialog, and tests
  • npm test -- --run tests/companionCatalog.test.tsx (3 passed)
  • npm run build (React/Vite production build passed)
  • wheel build plus archive assertion for resources/companion_catalog.json
  • wider embedded pendulum suite: unrelated pre-existing native/Python hub-Jacobian sign mismatch in test_analytical_jacobians.py; no changed code on that path
